Champions Machine Tool Sales began in 1981 when business partners Ronnie Dutton and Rickey Martin, Sr. began selling machine tools in the Houston area. They began selling machines to fit the oil field machine shop demands, that were going through a boom at the time. Those times would not last long and Champions struggled, but made it through developing new relationships both in the Houston area and overseas. Through the 1990’s, business was good with multiple machine tool lines and growth that eventually landed the company at our current location; 1151 E. Cypresswood Dr., Spring, Texas.

In 1997 the opportunity was brought to Champions to become a distributor and Factory Outlet for an American made machine tool from California, Haas Automation. Champions started Haas Factory Outlet Houston and had a grand opening in 1998. To follow, HFO Austin was opened in 2001 to support Central Texas. Champions has now grown to over thirty employees servicing well over 5,000 machines.
